My own journey out of Anxiety

From my own experiences of working with an anxiety coach I have learnt that my poor methods of coping came from my childhood. I was constantly anxious over what others thought of me and was a people-pleaser always doing what I could to win people over. And, at the same time I found it difficult to form relationships and trust others.

When I moved into the working world as an adult, my poor coping methods remained, and I continued to feel anxious.

While working a stressful job, I eventually hit the boiling point. I was anxious, stressed, worried about my work performance, damaging my personal relationships, and completely unable to relax and enjoy life.

 And then, I had a stroke.

After that, I knew I had to take my own health seriously. I knew that I had to work on myself, and through doing anxiety coaching I managed to rebuild my life. From this, I learned more about where my anxiety was coming from and how I could manage and challenge my negative thoughts.

I’m now happier and more confident than I ever was. Sometimes we all need a helping hand to guide us towards being our best selves.

Having lived through the experience of anxiety I really understand the impact, but equally as important I understand how to overcome it and know that I can help you too.

I was this way for a long time too. I lived with Anxiety for many years. However, I now know that this was the wrong approach for Anxiety. It only makes it worse in the long term.

The truth is: Social Anxiety is caused by many different factors, and if left untreated it will continue to cause problems. It doesn’t just go away. 

 

Simply resting or taking time off work doesn’t help get rid of your anxiety. It only saves it for another day.

I did all of these. It made my Anxiety Worse.
